The Solid Waste Facilities are to be utilized by county residents, private and commercial haulers for solid waste collection, disposal, and management.

Monday - Saturday
7:30AM - 7:20PM

Construction and Demolition Debris Intake Hours
7:30AM - 12PM and 1PM - 3:30PM
Monday - Friday

Brush Intake Hours 
7:30AM - 12PM and 1PM - 4PM
Monday - Friday 

Free Mulch
Free Mulch is available Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4PM
Loading assistance is available the following times:

  • Wednesday 1PM - 4PM
  • Thursday 7:30AM - 12PM/1PM - 4PM
  • Friday 7:30AM - 12PM/1PM - 4PM

Shred Truck Schedule
A shred truck is on site at the Pickens County Administration Building four times per year at no charge to county residents.  This free service is offered on the following dates from 10AM - 2PM at 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens:

June 20, 2024
* Dates and times are subject to change based on shred truck availability; please check back frequently.
