C&D Landfill Closure

Citizens of Pickens County:

Please be advised that effective Friday February 26, 2021 at 4:20 PM, the Pickens County Solid Waste Department will close its C&D landfill at 2047 Old Liberty Road, Liberty, SC 29657.

On Monday March 1, 2021, all C&D waste streams will move to the new C&D Transfer station at 2047 Old Liberty Road, Liberty SC 29657.

Please be patient as we begin this new process and expect some wait times to offload C&D as we work diligently to streamline this new process.

Rest assured we will put every effort towards maintaining this service to our community while enhancing operations to our Solid Waste Division for the citizens of Pickens County.
