Launch your water adventure at Mile Creek Park. Easy access to the water is key here. Three paved boat ramps, two courtesy docks (108 feet long by eight feet wide), and convenient car and boat parking make it easy for you to bring your own boat or canoe. Another large, 150-foot dock has five slips. The docks are for immediate loading and unloading only; no long-term ties-ups are allowed. There is a $5/day parking fee.
Water & Electricity
Each of our 69 campsites, whether waterfront of water view, has water and electric hookups, a picnic table, fire ring and lantern posts. A sewage dump station is available within the park.
Spend your day on the water and take a relaxing paddle around the lake. Kayaks are available to rent for cabin and campground users, with paddles and personal flotation devices included.
Cost $20.00 for 4 hours or $40.00 for all day. The renter must be at least 18 years old and sign a waiver and rental agreement. Contact park personnel for rental questions.
In addition to water and power at each campsite, Mile Creek Park has three heated comfort stations, each with restroom facilities, sinks, mirrors and hot-water showers, conveniently located throughout the camping area. Comfort station #2 is open year-round, while stations 1 and 3 are closed December through February.
There are plenty of picnic sites with both water and forest views, each with a table and grill. The picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Three large public pavilions with water, lights and large grills for group picnics are perfect for family reunions, youth groups and company picnics.
Take advantage of the area’s best access to Lake Keowee with Mile Creek Park’s 150-foot boat dock with five boat slips. Perfect for loading and unloading boats, it’s also great for sunning, swimming and skiing. You won’t lack water access at Mile Creek Park.
Mile Creek Park is perfect for the whole family with four play areas, two with playground equipment. A covered, lighted basketball court is open 7 a.m. to midnight. The volleyball court is open daylight to dark. Both are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Options for fun on the water are everywhere, with a huge boat ramp and dock and seven miles of shoreline for swimming, sunning, skiing and fishing.
