MISSION
It is the mission of the Code Enforcement Office, within the Pickens County Building Codes Department, to work in partnership with Pickens County residents to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living / working environment. The primary goal of code enforcement is to ensure the health and safety of all Pickens County residents through a systematic, yet sensitive, enforcement of Pickens County ordinances.
PURPOSE
Investigates complaints regarding various codes of the County, including the development standards ordinance, junkyards, weeds, abandoned vehicles, trash and debris, and substandard housing.
